Description

The manipulation of the argument SSID leads to cross site scripting. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. Es wurde eine problematische Schwachstelle in Netis WF2780 2.1.41925 gefunden. Es geht dabei um eine nicht klar definierte Funktion der Komponente Wireless 2.4G Menu. Durch die Manipulation des Arguments SSID mit unbekannten Daten kann eine cross site scripting-Schwachstelle ausgenutzt werden. Der Angriff kann über das Netzwerk passieren.
