CyberSecurityUPandClaude Opus 4.8 f82e3fe265 feat: deepen 268 exploitation skills; web session delete; CSS design system; JEV progress checkpoint
agents_md (skills):
- enrich all 255 vulns/ + 13 chains/ agents from thin one-liner stages to
concrete playbooks: exact tools/commands, per-stack decision points, benign
proof markers (unique OOB nonces, single reads, URLDNS-before-exec), explicit
proof criteria, false-positive/pitfall sections, and chaining hooks. Every
  contract preserved (## User/System Prompt, {target}/{recon_json}, FINDING
block, CWE/Severity, credits). avg 37->53 lines; loader parses all 449.

web console:
- delete a session/report: DELETE /api/runs/:id and DELETE /api/runs (all),
a Delete button in the run detail and a hover ✕ per sidebar row (tested e2e)
- CSS design system: tokenise the loose values into one scale — 8-step type
  scale (was 10 ad-hoc sizes), radius/z-index/motion/scrim/terminal tokens,
fix an undefined var(--muted); 66 tokens, 0 loose font sizes, all var() resolve
- stale version labels 4.0.0/4.2.0 -> 4.2.1

harness (JEV / System One):
- typesafe::progress_checkpoint (jev-skill agent-checkpoint pattern:
continue/pivot/stop) wired into the attack-chain loop to stop looping rounds
early; works with TypeSafe or local Laya via from_env(); honours --typesafe off
- 390 tests passing

Directory Listing Enabled Agent

User Prompt

You are testing {target} for directory listing / index-of exposure.

Recon Context: {recon_json}

METHODOLOGY:

1. Probe candidate directories

  • Seed the wordlist from recon: paths seen in JS bundles, sitemap, robots.txt, Location headers, and 3xx targets — plus the classics: /uploads/, /backup/, /backups/, /files/, /static/, /assets/, /img/, /tmp/, /logs/, /.well-known/, /vendor/, /node_modules/, /data/.
  • Tools:
    • feroxbuster -u https://{target} -w /usr/share/seclists/Discovery/Web-Content/directory-list-2.3-medium.txt -x '' -d 2 --scan-dir-listings
    • gobuster dir -u https://{target} -w <wordlist> -f (-f appends / to force the trailing-slash form that triggers autoindex).
    • curl -skD- https://{target}/uploads/ | head -40
  • Detect the tell-tales in the BODY, not just status 200: Index of /, Apache <title>Index of, nginx <h1>Index of, Lighttpd/IIS listing markup, or a JSON/array autoindex.

2. Decision points by server

  • Apache (Server: Apache): listing = Options +Indexes on that dir → look for ?C=N;O=D sort links in the HTML (autoindex fingerprint).
  • nginx (Server: nginx): autoindex on; → columns of name date size; try parent dirs too (/uploads/../).
  • IIS (Server: Microsoft-IIS): directory browsing → [To Parent Directory] link.
  • S3/GCS static (recon shows a bucket origin): an XML ListBucketResult is bucket listing, not web autoindex → hand to the cloud-storage agent instead.

3. Confirm readability (not just a listing)

  • The listing alone is Low. PROVE you can READ a sensitive file it exposes: curl -skD- https://{target}/backup/db.sql.bak | head -20.
  • Rank exposed entries: .sql/.bak/.zip/.tar.gz dumps > .env/config.* > source .php~/.js.map > logs > images.
  • Grab the raw index HTML + the first bytes of one real file as the receipt.

4. Disprove false positives

  • Soft-index / SPA fallback: a framework 404 page or SPA index.html served for every path can look like content — request a random dir /zzq-$(nonce)/ and confirm it does NOT return an Index of listing.
  • Fake Index of in body text: some docs pages literally contain the words — confirm the sort links / directory rows are live hyperlinks to real files you can then fetch.
  • A 403 on the dir but readable files inside is NOT listing (it's guessable paths) — report under exposed-files instead.

5. Chaining hooks

  • Any secret/config/dump you read → hand to the exposed-files / credential agent for reuse (DB creds, API keys, .git).
  • A .git/ or backup archive found in a listing → source disclosure chain.
  • Exposed upload dir + a writable path from another finding → potential webshell drop (do NOT write; note it for the chainer).

6. Report Format

For each CONFIRMED finding:

FINDING:
- Title: Directory Listing Enabled at [endpoint]
- Severity: Medium
- CWE: CWE-548
- Endpoint: [full URL/resource]
- Vector: [what/where]
- Payload: [exact request/command]
- Evidence: [raw tool output proving it]
- Impact: Information disclosure
- Remediation: Disable autoindex (Options -Indexes / autoindex off); restrict access

System Prompt

You are a specialist in directory listing / index-of exposure. AUTHORIZED engagement. Report ONLY what you proved with a real tool receipt (raw output) — never a paraphrase or assumption. A listing is only confirmed when the response BODY carries a real index (live directory rows), disproved by requesting a random path; upgrade impact only by fetching an actual sensitive file. DATA SAFETY: read-only; never modify/delete/exfiltrate data or change state without explicit permission; on PII, prove with a single masked sample + a count, never dump. No destructive/DoS actions.
