Build the XCFramework through scripts/build_ios.sh and use the framework configuration already committed in the Xcode project. Remove duplicate registration and its dedicated Ruby dependency setup.
Verified an unsigned release archive and one Gobackend reference, link entry, and embedded framework.
Fixes the random gobind crash 'bulkBarrierPreWrite: unaligned arguments'
(golang/go#46893; cgo aligns exported-function argument frames since
1.26.0). The earlier 1.26 rollback (cdc58367) was the arm32 SIGSYS from
probing futex_time64 under seccomp on Android <=10 — fixed in 1.26.3 by
gating time64 syscalls on kernel >= 5.1 instead of probing (verified in
the 1.26.5 runtime source, which names Android 8-10 explicitly).
go directive carries the full patch version so gomobile's synthesized
bind module picks the same toolchain.
CI (every push/PR):
- pub-cache cached keyed on pubspec.lock
- dorny/paths-filter skips the Flutter job for Go-only changes and
vice versa (skipped required checks count as passing)
Release:
- gomobile installed from the go.mod-pinned x/mobile version instead
of @latest (reproducible, covered by the setup-go cache; verified
locally that go.sum already satisfies cmd/gomobile)
- Android bind targets arm/arm64/amd64 only - 386 dropped, amd64 kept
so the universal APK still runs on x86_64 emulators
- NDK r29 cached; docker prune dropped from the free-space step
- Flutter pinned to 3.41.5 (matches .fvmrc/ci.yml) in both build jobs
plus pub-cache caching; xcodeproj gem installed only when missing
go get -u across the backend: goja 2026-07-01, golang.org/x/* latest,
brotli 1.2.2, klauspost/compress 1.19. Toolchain stays on go1.25.9;
CI and docs now pin 1.25.9 explicitly.
Raise sourceCompatibility/targetCompatibility to Java 25 and Kotlin jvmTarget to JVM_25 across app and subprojects, and CI java-version to 25 (Kotlin 2.3.21 supports JVM_25). Bump targetSdk to 37 to match compileSdk. Building locally requires Flutter to use JDK 25 (flutter config --jdk-dir).
The ffmpeg_kit_flutter_new_full pub package ships setup_ios.sh with CRLF line endings, so its podspec prepare_command failed with '/bin/bash^M: bad interpreter'. Normalize the plugin's shell scripts in the pub cache before building iOS.
