Artist Tag Mode gains "Primary artist only": downloads and re-enrichment write only the first credited artist to Artist and Album Artist, so players list one artist. The FFmpeg MP3, M4A and Vorbis embeds and the AC-4 path now honor the mode; MP3 and M4A previously ignored it.
Manual metadata edits, lyrics embedding and format conversion keep existing or typed credits joined instead of dropping names. The picker scrolls so three options fit on small and landscape screens. Closes#618.
Replace the Go backend with the Rust workspace and route Android/iOS through
UniFFI bindings. Include the migrated extension runtime, network, providers,
media metadata, downloads and library operations, with version 5.0.0+147.
Remove Go sources, adapters, native build selection and CI dependencies.
Build Rust unconditionally and lock the iOS Rust pod using a relative path.
Retain legacy source and migration evidence in a local ignored archive.
Validation: Android Kotlin compile and 53 native tests; Swift Rust-branch
equivalence and syntax; CocoaPods install; workflow, shell, Ruby, plist and
diff checks. Reuse the preceding 100 Rust tests, fmt/Clippy and five-ABI
build checkpoint; no new APK or iOS application build for this cleanup.
Known follow-up: URL/URLSearchParams globals are missing from the Rust JS
runtime. A controlled extension replay confirms a URL-resolution regression;
this commit does not fix that runtime gap.
local_album and the queue batch action carried byte-identical ~110-line copies
of the FFmpeg re-enrich apply+SAF-writeback+temp-cleanup flow (differing only in
helper names). Extract one applyFfmpegReEnrichResult() so the SAF temp-file
cleanup — the class of bug fixed in fb7d101 — has a single source. The
track-detail copy stays: it drives snackbars and does not preserve metadata.
