From adc683e349ba8fff1381238b2d30f5706d8f361e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: garrytan Date: Sun, 4 Oct 2026 23:08:49 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] test: retro-base-branch fixture uses main and a shallow report path PR run 37241493377: the agent wrote retro-output.md one directory above the requested /retro-base/retro-output.md (it dropped the retro-base segment), so the report check found nothing. The fixture also ran plain git init, which makes master on CI's git while the prompt says the repo is on main; the agent logged that mismatch as a learning. Init on main and use the temp dir itself as the repo. Diagnostic rerun passed (18 turns, 203s). --- test/skill-e2e-retro.test.ts | 7 +++---- 1 file changed, 3 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-) diff --git a/test/skill-e2e-retro.test.ts b/test/skill-e2e-retro.test.ts index e4109e77d..29aa7e853 100644 --- a/test/skill-e2e-retro.test.ts +++ b/test/skill-e2e-retro.test.ts @@ -79,11 +79,10 @@ describeIfSelected('Base branch detection', ['retro-base-branch'], () => { }); testConcurrentIfSelected('retro-base-branch', async () => { - const dir = path.join(baseBranchDir, 'retro-base'); - fs.mkdirSync(dir, { recursive: true }); + const dir = baseBranchDir; - // Create git repo with commit history - run('git', ['init'], dir); + // Create git repo with commit history on main, the branch the prompt names + run('git', ['init', '-b', 'main'], dir); run('git', ['config', 'user.email', 'dev@example.com'], dir); run('git', ['config', 'user.name', 'Dev'], dir);
