From e399cf69e2a4f7d96f1ae63d7b63b8f06b80ae45 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: garrytan Date: Tue, 6 Oct 2026 20:55:35 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] fix: Aside prompts travel as agent-written files, never inside the command The open-ended reading recipe (browse, devex-review), scrape's fuzzy-intent read and the shared web-research block put the model's question, query and reply format inside a double-quoted _aside_exec argument, where backticks and $(...) from page or repo text would run. The agent now writes the prompt into a private .gstack/tmp file; the send block rebuilds the path from the printed basename, refuses when the file is empty, and passes "$(cat "$PROMPT_FILE")". The fixed read-only sentence stays in the shell source. aside-driver pins move from the inline prompt to the file-based send block.
