fix: test fixtures stop tripping /ship's fetch sweep (GST-1695) (#4105)
* test: leftover test fixtures must not quarantine a /ship review pass (GST-1695) Failing first: a marked fixture root and ship-bin's insteadOf-local clone are printed as ignored and never block the rerun, an unmarked network clone still does, and every test process keeps its temp paths under one marked root that is removed after a timeout. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: test fixtures live under a marked per-process root and the fetch sweep ignores them (GST-1695) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: pre-landing review fixes The macOS named regressions re-host a captured 120-column Claude screen at the run's temp path; under the per-process marked root that path is 11 characters longer, so the permission row overran 120 columns, the PTY split '(shift+tab)' mid-word and the guard never granted (CI run 42326005642). The fake now word-wraps an overlong row at its last space, as Claude Code's renderer does. test-setup.ts, the changelog fragment and docs/review-policy.md now say a Bun.spawn child given no env keeps the original temp dir, and the policy names the exemptions a reader could forge. Review-Finding: test/plan-count-file-permission.test.ts:101:functional-contract reader=qa Review-Finding: p1/red-team#1 reader=red-team Review-Finding: p1/specialist-batched#1 reader=security Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: shard sandboxes carry the fixture marker so a runner-provided TMPDIR stays as handed (GST-1695) The narrow screen (evals run 42333856900) went red on qa-bootstrap: the preload nested gst-XXXXXX under the paid shard's private TMPDIR, so the case's mkdtemp(os.tmpdir()) landed below the bootstrap retention scope's temporary dir and registerBootstrapRetention refused it. createShardSandbox now writes the marker into the shard state dir beside tmp/, and the preload keeps any TMPDIR under a marked directory. Harness pin recorded as non-behavioral. fix(ship): a cleared remote gate for HEAD's exact tree satisfies a lane whose inventory refuses that tree (GST-1688) (#4098)
* fix(ship): a cleared remote gate for HEAD's exact tree satisfies a lane whose inventory refuses that tree (GST-1688) When a ship_lanes_from inventory refuses HEAD's tree (inventory_failed) and .gstack/tmp/pregate.json verifies for that exact tree with the remote gate's own report for it, record-ci --remote-gate-stands-in records the lane as source=remote_gate and accept prints a CI_CARRY: remote_gate line naming the receipt. A gate for any other tree still stops, with a CARRY_DIAGNOSIS line. A run whose tree.json lists no files now says to dispatch a fresh full run. free-ci-health: a split shard's overrun compares wall time with its prediction over jobs (GST-1653) (#4085)
shardOverruns compared a shard's wall-clock elapsedMs with predictedMs, the shard's serial seed sum. free-tests.yml plans every shard at --shard-jobs 4, so the 1.5x warning only fired after about a 6x slowdown. The prediction is now divided by the plan shard's jobs, ciHealthSummary carries jobs through, and the warning names the parallel job count. k=1 output is unchanged. Rewritten on main from #4051, which fixes #3851. fix(ship): finish takes a landed stack parent as the reviewed base, fail-closed (GST-1399) (#4021)
* fix(ship): finish takes a landed stack parent as the reviewed base, fail-closed on metadata and never bounded (GST-1399)
Ported from #4013 onto #4020's route: the stacked-parent path judges every
shipped path's metadata class against main, counts stamp_paths and
release_outputs only while stamp-only, and never feeds the bounded route.
The receipt carry's landed-parent search finds a squash main edited since.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>

* fix(ship): a metadata-only conflict still holds a landed parent; a post-merge loop head starts at its own fork (GST-1399)
heldBy counts a merge as conflicted only when a conflicted path is inside its pathspec, so a train's VERSION restamp
in the squash no longer hides the landed parent. The review-loop exception's atHead uses patchBase, so a fix-check head
after the child merged main starts at its own merge base, not at the parent.

* test(ship): stacked-parent loop-exception matrix over merge order, parent state and fix-check head (GST-1399)
28 cells: the child merged main before the parent landed, after, or never; the parent landed by squash, by squash
with a later main edit of its lines, with a release fold, or not at all; the fix-check head is before any merge, the
merge, or after it. Every cell runs the postinstall and stamp_paths probes (parent changes main never took, edited
after the fix-check) and a control run (the child's own file and a main-only file edited after the fix-check).

fix(evals): the Codex removed-rule arm really removes the rule from installed skills (GST-840) (#3816)
* fix(evals): Codex removed-rule arm strips the rule from the installed skills (GST-840)

* fix(evals): copy linked directories inside a skill before stripping the rule; record the harness decision (GST-840)
/ship review found readdirSync({ recursive: true }) follows linked
subdirectories, so a rule file under a linked directory inside a real
skill directory would have been deleted and rewritten in the checkout.
Every linked directory on the way to a rule file is now copied first,
with a failing-first test row. The harness-version manifest records
codex-host-runner.ts as non-behavioral: only the manual removed arm
on the Codex host changes.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* test: keep the Codex safety-arm test off Windows, and spawn its probe with bunIsolationArgs (GST-840)
windows-free-shard 3 (run 41336347706) failed every case: native Bun on
Windows cannot open --config=/dev/null, and the test builds a symlinked
~/.codex/skills install that needs Developer Mode the runners lack.
./setup --host codex copies instead of linking on Windows, so the strip
only matters on POSIX. The probe now uses bunIsolationArgs().

v1.94.33.0 fix(ship-queue, hooks): selector reads the checkout under review; one SWITCH_DEFAULT per hook switch; installs are not checks; timed agent deferral (GST-1088 follow-up) (#3933)

* feat(flaky): gstack-flaky run reruns a failed JUnit test once and ledgers the flake (GSTA-158)
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix(flaky): stream output, keep unreported runner failures red, fail-closed duplicates and nonzero reruns
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: pre-landing review fixes
gstack-flaky never greens an incomplete run: a targeted rerun needs the
runner's summary proving the first run complete, otherwise (and always for
generic runners) the rerun repeats the whole command. A rerun clears a test
only when it exits 0 and the test passes once on its first attempt. Killed
runners exit 3 (FLAKY_COMMAND_KILLED) and signals are forwarded. The first
report is restored at --junit with reruns kept beside it; ids are redacted at
every output; the ledger gets its own GSTACK_FLAKE_LEDGER_JUNIT; fixtures are
registered in FREE_FIXTURES.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: latch cancellation and check whole-command rerun reports
A cancel forwarded to a runner that traps the signal now counts as killed for
every later attempt, so a cancelled job is never rerun or greened. A
whole-command rerun clears nothing when its report has a failed test, misses a
first-run test, or its runner counted failures outside the report.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: whole-command rerun when coverage or runner-flaky tests can fail the run
A coverage threshold or a fail-on-flaky policy fails a run for a reason a
narrowed rerun cannot reproduce, so either forces a whole-command rerun.
--junit refuses an existing file that is not a JUnit report instead of
deleting it.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* feat(flaky): rerun the whole command by default; targeted rerun is opt-in
A rerun counts only on the runner's own full green verdict: exit 0, no failed
or missing test, nothing counted outside the report. That covers every way a
run can fail, which a narrowed rerun cannot (a coverage threshold with an lcov
reporter, a fail-on-flaky policy, a test never reached). --rerun-scope test
reruns the failed test alone, with its preconditions documented and the
complete-run checks kept as a safety net. An unreadable existing --junit file
is a usage error, not a crash.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* docs: gstack-flaky CHANGELOG entry and standalone-binaries row (GSTA-158)

* fix(flaky): reword the FLAKY_QUARANTINE_BASE hint so the egress scanner does not read it as a network op
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* test(agent-sdk): every SDK caller passes the claude_code preset or names why not
The SDK's default system prompt is a bare stub that drops the line telling the
model to run /skill through the Skill tool. runAgentSdkTest now refuses a
missing, empty or bare-string prompt; non-preset callers name a reason; a free
tripwire scans test/ and scripts/ for the same mistake.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* test: record the SDK prompt guard as a non-behavioral harness change and baseline its tripwire
harness-version: runAgentSdkTest validates systemPrompt before starting; every
live caller already passed the claude_code preset, so no verdict can change.
test-of-test ratchet: the tripwire's subject is the eval harness by design.

* docs: name the preset literal callers pass and the unnamed-prompt refusal

* feat(eval-plan): frontier models under test (R54)
Haiku and Sonnet are not models under test. dry-run refuses a plan whose every
arm is Haiku or Sonnet unless --tier-question names what it asks about that
tier, warns on a mix, and re-costs the plan on Opus 5.5 and GPT-6.1 Sol.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix(eval-plan): trim R54 skill prose and raise the eval-plan context ceiling
The R54 paragraph and CHECK: frontier bullet were cut to the minimum; the
exemptions and verdict rule stay in docs/TESTING_INTERNALS.md. The remaining
growth is the feature, so only the eval-plan eager ceiling moves (4887 -> 5458,
the capture helper's value); other skills' ceilings are left as they were.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix(eval-plan): pilot start keeps the R54 refusal; --tier-question rejects a flag
Review pass 1 (full depth) found the frontier refusal could be skipped by
starting a pilot on Haiku or Sonnet arms behind a dry run made on other arms,
or behind a dry-run.json written before the check existed. startPilot now
refuses a pilot whose every arm is Haiku or Sonnet unless its dry run recorded
a tier question. dry-run --tier-question no longer takes the next flag as its
answer. The testing doc now says the frontier re-cost is printed for
comparison with the brief cap, not enforced.

test:health and factory scorecard: leave reused main pushes out of free-suite flake counts (#3725) (#3822)
A main push that reused its merged PR's verified run (#3709) runs no shards and uploads nothing, so both readers counted it as a zero-flake run and diluted real flake rates under the 5% bar. reuseChecker (scripts/lib/ci-history.ts) marks a run with no artifacts and a green reuse job; readCiFlakeLedgers leaves it out and refills the window, readFreeRetries leaves it out of the free-retry count. One capped job listing per artifact-less run (40 per read); past the cap or on a failed listing the run counts as before, with a note. fix(hooks): the timeline Stop hook bounds its stdin read (#3628) (#3715)
A host that writes the Stop payload and keeps stdin open held the hook for as long as the pipe stayed open. Read for at most 500 ms, stop at the first complete JSON payload, and await the repair before exiting 0. Reported in #3628 (shahab, mashtii85); the read is written fresh on main. v1.92.16.0 fix: /ship stops re-running the review loop after base merges, test fixes and audit-requested doc fixes (#3684)
* fix(ship): base merges, adjacent base edits, test-only and audit-requested fixes no longer force a second review loop (GST-407, GST-384, GST-391)
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* ship driver: trim two phrases for headroom with #3662
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* ship driver: keep the Next steps heading phrase the handoff check reads; trim elsewhere
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* test: regenerate ship goldens
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: pre-landing review fixes
comparePath returns same only when every hunk sits where the base change puts it (patch-ids ignore positions) and treats a file-mode change as changed; the scoped-review packet says when a fence is truncated; --docs-result must be the posted audit's result; the --context-reviewed record goes beside the packet, outside the worktree. Negative controls for each.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: pass-2 review fixes
A test edit routes as tests= only when it adds lines with no gate tag; a removed or changed line or an unreadable test diff goes through the full loop. Diffs skip textconv. A hunkless patch (binary, empty, mode-only) is same when its patch-id matches. Without --reviewed-base test files route as before. finish's packet path and attempt's state directory have fallbacks.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: Step 11 review fixes; a version-only stamp_files edit after review is release metadata (GBRA-251)
gateEditedPaths reads removed lines only inside hunks; carry refuses when a path listing fails; docs freshness stops on a failed listing; attempt counts an unreadable state file. releasePaths includes stamp_files paths whose edit is a version swap under stamp_patterns.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: no test edit skips review; guard packet writes; exclusive attempt state
A test-only edit with no gate tag gets the scoped fix-check of its test hunks instead of a lanes-only rerun. Packet write failures print a STOP or RECEIPT_CARRY_REFUSED. attempt's allowance uses an exclusive create.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: attempt prints gstack's install command; carry checks the product diff outside context paths
The attempt STOP no longer echoes the audit child's fix text. A scoped-review carry now requires the product patch-id without the context paths to match at both heads.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: oversized packets take the full loop; exact --docs-requested match; name-only test globs only in test dirs
A scoped-review packet section over 200 lines sends that path to the full loop instead of a truncated packet. The docs-result path match is exact. test_*.py, *Test.java and similar count as test code only under a test directory.

Version Gate stops applying open claims to a fragments stamp. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(land): close adversarial and outside-voice findings land reconciles a merge GitHub completed behind an error reply, refuses --break-lock against a holder that just entered a push or a merge, keeps a repair takeover on the lock itself (any checkout can land the repair PR), resumes --repair after a failed PR create, releases the lock on QUEUE_LAND_BASE_BUSY, never writes through a symlinked release file, keeps a package.json version source's other edits, and refuses an empty object id instead of pushing a deletion. A carried-back fragment is matched on whole released lines. Under changelog_fragments Version Gate accepts a stamped head only as a [pin, base] merge-step commit with valid fragments. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * feat(land): refuse a pin without a READY receipt; symlinked release files refuse before restamp Under changelog_fragments, gstack-ship-queue ready records a READY receipt (refs/notes/gstack-trains) once its pregate, full_e2e and /ship receipt checks pass, and land refuses a pin without one (fix: run gstack-ship-queue ready --pr N), --dry-run included (GStack Minder ruling, 2026-10-29). The merged tree's release files may not be symlinks, so restamp never writes outside the scratch worktree. --repair adopts an existing branch only when it holds land's repair commit. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(pregate): clear's stamp-only substitution applies the changelog_fragments fold; docs match land and ready gstack-pregate clear and gstack-tree-receipt now classify through one classifyFiles, so under changelog_fragments a receipt for the fragment head clears the stamped head when the stamp is exactly the fold. The ship-policy reference names ready's receipt push, land's own check polling, the key-off refusal and the /ship changelog_fragments line. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs(pregate, ship-policy): the fragment fold's two receipt rules, and clear applies them too Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * feat(ship-queue): stamped train prefixes S_i with the self-check (PR B) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * feat(ship-queue): train build stamps S_i under fragments; train land publishes S_i exactly; backstop covers exact trees (PR B) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs: stamped trains and train land; QUEUE_TRAIN_STAMP_MISMATCH anchor Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * captain templates: fragments instead of [Unreleased]; no slot call for stamped trains Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test: timeouts on the train-land gh wrapper's sync spawns Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * feat(ship-queue): train land checks the depth-checked receipt (#3567); regenerate the doctor anchors Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test(train-stamp): S_i keeps the base's four-part package.json (#3557) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test(windows): leave test/ship-queue-train-land.test.ts out of the Windows-safe subset (same gh shim as the train tests) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(train-land): close pre-landing review and outside-voice findings - train land checks commit-tree and stamps with a fixed identity and date, journals before the push, and adopts its own stamp head on a rerun; a failed commit-tree never pushes a branch deletion - a symlinked release file in the merged tree refuses before the train stamp writes - mergeStep merges a conflicted manifest three-way with the predecessor's version (mergeManifest, shared with land) - train land refuses a PR retargeted off the base and a failed base refresh - Version Gate skips a released fragment carried in by a stacked pin instead of counting its bump - bisect of a stamped train tests T0 and S_1..S_k Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(train-land): a rerun whose head is still the pin re-enters the stamp step after a journaled, unpushed stamp Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(train-land): prove the record's S_i is on the gated chain before stamping; a merge main does not show yet pends Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(train-land): pin S_i to the gated head's exact prefix; an out-of-order slot refuses without freezing; stamps never sign Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(train-land): pin S_i to slot position; a failed push or unreadable PR never reads as a move; reruns of landed slots confirm; T0 in the out-of-order refusal Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * feat(train-land): verify the whole stamped chain from git before landing; require changelog_fragments.required_checks green on the stamp commit Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs(ship-policy, troubleshooting, harness): train land refusals, resume and required checks; stamped bisect; three-way manifest merges Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * ship: write the Steps 12-16 range with an ASCII hyphen so the skeleton fits maxSkeletonBytes Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> --------- Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> |

The ship-policy reference names ready's receipt push, land's own check polling, the key-off refusal and the /ship changelog_fragments line. v1.91.302.0 fix: repair three flaky gate cases from the 2026-10-28 flaky pass (index flags, exploratory QA, cookie auth) (#3553)
* fix(review): shared-code evidence gathering is read-only (index-flags flaky, gate 40619718717)
The failing assume-unchanged trial ran git update-index --really-refresh while gathering evidence, which cleared the flag the checker reads. Step 1 now says the read is read-only and names that command; nearby prose tightened so the section stays byte-identical in size (no pin or ledger move).

v1.91.279.0 eval:select exemptions and ETHOS.md registration (#3499), below-floor review rulings (#3504, #3485), Windows curation, GSTA-121 follow-ups (#3515)
* Eval selection exemptions, review-floor rulings and the GSTA-121 follow-ups Release metadata (NOTICE.md, LICENSE, licenses/**) no longer restores the full paid gate and ETHOS.md is registered under the two prompts that read it (#3499). docs/review-policy.md records the six finding classes #3485 and #3504 ruled below the floor and the review army's lead judgment applies the table; the floor itself is unchanged. The Windows curation moves test/pregate-remote-stamp-only.test.ts to KNOWN_WINDOWS_INCOMPATIBLE (#3485). From GSTA-121: Blast radius in docs/skills.md and the merge-ask template, the 11-digit run-id exemption from pii.phone.e164 after a run word, relative string literals as import-graph edges, and a ubi-runner pack that never tars the live .git. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: pre-landing review fixes Red Team pass 1 (all below the floor): an 11-digit span with a leading 1 after a run word is a US or Chinese national number, not a run id, and reports again; ubi-runner pack removes its temporary repository when it fails and replays branch.* with remote.* so a branch's upstream resolves on the VM; the conservative-refusal example in docs/review-policy.md reads in the refusing direction; the touchfiles header names why ETHOS.md sits only under the two prompts that quote it. Step 6's selection found captain/templates/merge-ask.md as the one unknown dependency of this PR and registered captain/templates/** in FREE_ONLY_PR_FILES (#3499). Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: pre-landing review fixes (pass 2) The cmd_pack EXIT trap bakes the temp path in: a set -e failure unwinds the function before the trap runs and a local $tmp is unset there, so the old form leaked the snapshot. The leak test creates TMPDIR where the pack reads it and asserts the failure is the missing index. CHANGELOG examples no longer spell a full national number. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: adversarial review fixes The pack snapshot carries the index's staged blobs as a pack of their own, so a VM write-tree (gstack-wtree) can read a staged file the way the old .git tar allowed; git init runs with --template= and gc.auto=0 and a valueless remote/branch key replays as true. scripts/harness-version.json re-pins scripts/test-pr-profile.ts after the captain/templates/** entry. The run-id exemption reads the same way in the scanner and gstack-post: an 11-digit span after a run word is a run id (the leading-1 exclusion from the Red Team pass contradicted gstack-post's tested contract and the ruling that a run id is not a phone number), with the residual named in the comment, the docs and the CHANGELOG. The #3499 pins move to their own test so the boundary test stays under its default budget. Docs audit: TESTING_INTERNALS names RELEASE_METADATA_FILES and captain/templates/**, docs/captain.md names Blast radius. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: pre-landing review fixes (pass 4) The pack's staged-blob list comes from the copied index, holds only blobs staged against HEAD (not every tracked blob), skips gitlinks whose commit the superproject lacks, and dies with its own message when pack-objects fails. The live-checkout test covers a gitlink entry and a valueless remote key replayed as true. CHANGELOG names the staged-blob carry. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: pre-landing review fixes (pass 5) The pack's blob list is the copied index's blobs that HEAD's tree lacks, so an intent-to-add entry's empty blob and the stages of an unmerged entry travel too (the HEAD-only diff list dropped both); gitlinks still skip. The live-checkout test adds an intent-to-add entry, which the VM fsck assertion covers. v1.91.276.0 feat(preamble): tier 2+ skills load the shared preamble once per session (GSTA-96) (#3434)
* fix(preamble): completeness means complete coverage with minimal code (GSTA-96) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * feat(preamble): tier 2+ skills load the shared preamble once per session (GSTA-96) Every tier 2+ SKILL.md inlined the same ~23 KB preamble. It now renders once per host into sections/preamble.md beside each tier 2+ SKILL.md; the SKILL.md keeps a pointer that asks for the Read only when the file's id is not already in context. Only sections byte-identical to the shared render move, so every skill keeps exactly its pre-hoist paragraphs (verified across all 41 skills). Parity caps for ten skills raised to their measured unions (owner-approved, Garry 2026-10-25: "do it"); 63 size pins lowered and 26 deleted. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(paid-select): a generated sections/preamble.md takes its skill template's identity in the PR planner (GSTA-96) screen-summary failed on #3434 with 'PR profile requires full validation' for nine skills whose only paid coverage is periodic: their new sections/preamble.md had no dependency identity, while the SKILL.md beside it inherits its template's. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test(section-manifest): the shared sections/preamble.md renders from the hoist resolver, not a section template (GSTA-96) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: pre-landing review fixes (CHANGELOG says 3 characters shorter; model-overlays guards the coverage half) The completeness section shrank by 3 characters (5 bytes), matching the 89 pins lowered by 3. The default-copy test pinned only the minimal-code half; an expectMentions check now fails if the full-coverage or never-excuses-a-gap clause is dropped. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: pre-landing review fixes (model-overlays binds smaller diff to equal coverage) The default-copy check now also fails if 'on equal coverage' is dropped from the smaller-diff rule (which would tell models to prefer the smaller diff unconditionally) or if the no-impossible-state-checks clause is removed. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs: CHANGELOG lists the model-overlays coverage checks The [Unreleased] Tests bullet now says the default-copy test checks both halves of the rule (full coverage of the requirement; smaller diff only at equal coverage; no impossible-state checks; never excuses a gap), matching |

v1.91.263.0 feat(ship-queue): screens read from the run, train watch/forget/prune --stale, verify --post-merge, ready --dispatch-ci, --stack-tests (#3484)
* feat(ship-queue): screens read from the run, train watch/forget/prune --stale, verify --post-merge, ready --dispatch-ci, --stack-tests Operating merge trains on 2026-10-26 showed the gaps this closes. A dispatched screen's verdict is read from the run's gate-binding and report-verdict artifacts (lib/ship-queue-screen.ts) and recorded in the READY receipt: a RED screen refuses ready under either choice and is never re-dispatched at the same merge SHA (QUEUE_SCREEN_RED); a run that concluded success with no slice is NOT-RUN (QUEUE_SCREEN_NOT_RUN), never followed, and counted as unscreened by train build. When refs/pull/<n>/merge lags or is missing the screen is planned on a scratch merge pushed as screen/<pr>-<head12> (#3465); QUEUE_SCREEN_STALE_REF means a real conflict only. train watch --train is the resumable follow command; train prune --stale settles a merging/green train whose PRs all merged or closed elsewhere; train forget removes one record with an exact lease on refs/notes/gstack-trains; verify --post-merge <sha> watches main's push workflows until they settle; ready --dispatch-ci <wf,…> dispatches the free workflows on a conflicting PR, waits, and clears the matching requires-remote pregate lanes with the run URLs; train build --dry-run --stack-tests runs each PR's new test files on its integrated prefix before anything is dispatched (QUEUE_TRAIN_STACK_RED). v1.91.255.0 fix(ship-queue): fill trains at 3 READY PRs or one hour, and price every case shard's trial (#3478)
* fix(ship-queue): fill trains at 3 READY PRs or one hour, and price every case shard's trial
The 5-PR / 3-hour fill left READY PRs waiting most of a day; .gstack/ship-policy.json
now fills at max_size 3 or fill_hours 1, whichever comes first (fillDue already
dispatches at either bound). train verdict printed cost=$24.41 for a train whose slice
report said cost $32.92 known + 54 of 136 trial(s) cost unknown: E2E records named by a
display label ("/benchmark workflow") were never attributed to their case id, so the
per-case sum was short. A case shard's records now belong to its one case; a multi-case
shard with display-labelled records keeps those trials unknown. The ATTEMPT: line names
how many cases have no cost instead of printing a partial sum as the total.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix(ci): record the paid-report.ts harness decision and keep ship-queue-train-cost.test.ts off the Windows subset
scripts/lib/paid-report.ts is a pinned shared-harness file, so test/harness-version.test.ts wants a HARNESS_VERSION decision for its edit: non-behavioral, because a case shard's records are attributed to its one case for the trial's cost, class and error fields while no case's outcome, panel verdict or selection changes.
test/ship-queue-train-cost.test.ts drives bin/gstack-ship-queue against the #!/bin/sh gh shim, which windows-latest cannot run (windows-free-shard 2 on #3478 at

v1.91.254.0 pregate: starter policy, benign-finding allowlist, environment vs diff failures, per-run scratch (#3480)
* pregate: starter policy, benign-finding allowlist, environment failures, per-run scratch
A repository with no .gstack/pregate.json now gets a warn (PREGATE_NO_POLICY)
with a starter policy printed, instead of PREGATE_NO_LANE on every touched
file; gstack-pregate init remains the explicit write. The policy gains an
allowlist for benign secrets/pii findings (env.value and secret never
allowlistable). Checks that cannot run because of the machine report
PREGATE_ENVIRONMENT (incomplete, with kind and evidence) apart from diff
failures. Every run writes its scratch under the state root, per run id.

* fix: pre-landing review fixes
guards: an exited guard is the machine's only on exit 127, never from its output;

environment: one fix table per kind, one ANSI strip, hoisted not-found vocabulary;
starter returns its lines; allowlistDigest reuses sha256; stale headers and the
PREGATE_INCOMPLETE fix clause updated; tests for the mixed verify branch, disk
precedence, allowlist boundaries, a positionless finding, head-policy strictness,
run-id edges and the unwritable state root.

needs the separator; the full file name is specific on its own.

- exit 127 and 'command not found' are missing-binary only when the
command's own binary is off PATH (runner, guard and remote gate alike);
a script the diff controls that exits 127 is the diff's failure
- a local lane with no test summary is classified from its output only
when the runner was not seen starting a test file; a remote gate only
from its first 40 lines, before any test output could stream
- environment.proof records launch (certain) or output (inferred); an
output-inferred cause never says 'the diff is not at fault', its line
says '(inferred from output)', and verify names such checks
- a runner killed by a signal is PREGATE_INCOMPLETE, not missing-binary
- a --run id whose directory exists takes <id>-2 .. -9 instead of
sharing (and truncating) a live run's logs
- engine.* findings are never allowlistable; a pattern entry the scanner
gave no position for is reported as not tested instead of silently inert
- docs: synopsis --run, no-policy lanes wording, verify's code list,
guard exit 127 carve-out, PREGATE_SECRETS allowlist pointer, scratch

fix(pregate): waive version-stamp-only manifests from the lanes check (GBRA-95) (#3461)
gbrain's release:restamp rewrites its plugin manifests and VERSION; its base's .gstack/pregate.json declares no lane for them, and pregate reads policy from the base, so every restamp PR failed lanes with PREGATE_NO_LANE and could not fix itself (gbrain PRs 7625 and 7606). lib/pregate/stamp-only.ts defines version-stamp-only per file kind: a JSON document of the same shape whose every changed leaf is a bare version under a key named for a version; plist <string> versions under a ...Version... key; a VERSION file that is one bare version on both sides. lane-selection applies it only after the import graph, the declarations, the regen registry and both empty lanes found nothing; lanes prints the waived files on their own line and --explain the per-file verdict. Anything else (a changed description, a new key, a dependency pin, an added or deleted manifest) keeps its PREGATE_NO_LANE. Tests: pure rows for every rule, and bin fixtures for a stamp-only PR (passes), a manifest with a changed description (refused), a mixed diff (stamped files waived, the orphan source file still refused, a mapped file still runs its test) and an added/deleted manifest. v1.91.243.0 fix(capy): source the launch environment from a 0600 file; no skill fence may print the environment (GSTA-104) (#3449)
* fix(capy): the launch environment is sourced from a 0600 file and no skill fence may print the environment (GSTA-104) During GSTA-96's unattended /ship on #3425, the Step 14.5 docs-audit child re-typed the GSTACK_LAUNCH assignments as `export $(...)`; the substitution came back empty, the bare `export` printed the whole environment, and three API key values landed in its tool output. - bin/gstack-capy-install writes the assignments to <verdict>.env (mode 0600, idempotent PATH prepend) and prints GSTACK_LAUNCH_FILE: <path>. - ship Step 14.5 prompt, document-release's spawned note, autoplan/DRIVER.md and gstack-skill-start's capy-asks block say: source the file; never export $(...), env, printenv or bare set in a tool fence. - test/launch-env-echo-ratchet.test.ts greps every generated SKILL.md, sections, DRIVER.md, the Capy skill and bin/ shell helpers, with negative controls under test/fixtures/launch-env-echo/. - lib/redact-engine.ts: env.value (HIGH) finds the value of any *_KEY, *_TOKEN, *_SECRET, *_PASSWORD variable in the writer's environment, so a leaked value cannot reach a PR body, receipt, report or Drive file. - scripts/lib/shard-engine.ts scrubs the Capy launch markers from shard environments (GSTA-99's finding). Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(ci): DRIVER.md back to 159 lines; shard-engine recorded non-behavioral at HARNESS_VERSION 6; verdict-count test lists .json only Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test: register test/fixtures/launch-env-echo as a free fixture Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test(redact): env-value fixtures stay out of pregate's env.kv net A credential-named assignment with an entropic literal on one line is what the repo's own pregate secrets scan refuses in added lines, so the fixture values move into plainly named constants and the scanned text is built from them. The scan under test still sees the same values through processEnv. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test(windows): the late-completion remote-caller case gives its second attempt a 2s budget (run 40263984171) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(redact): env.value trims the value, keeps a prefix value's longer match, hides the preview and skips PUBLIC names /ship Step 9.4 review fixes for the GSTA-104 env-value scan: - a value whose environment copy ends in a newline (a key read from a file) is searched for trimmed, so its leaked form still matches (the length check already trimmed; the search used the raw value); - when one credential value is a prefix of another, the dedup key carries the span length, so the longer value is redacted whole in either order instead of leaving its tail in the text and dropping its finding; - the env.value preview is a fixed mask instead of the first characters of a live credential; - framework-public names (NEXT_PUBLIC_*_KEY, *_PUBLIC_KEY) are not scanned, since those values are committed on purpose; - the header and the processEnv docstring state the name rule (KEY, TOKEN, SECRET, PASSWORD, PASSWD, any case) and that process.env is the engine's one ambient input. Step 7 coverage extensions and a regression test for each fix in test/redact-env-value.test.ts; docs/capy-install.md names the full rule. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * refactor(capy-install): write_launch_file quotes through shq; header names the launch file Review finding: _sq duplicated shq() from the same file. The launch file's assignments now go through shq, and the header comment describes the GSTACK_LAUNCH_PATH and GSTACK_LAUNCH_FILE lines beside GSTACK_LAUNCH. Step 7 coverage: the verdict test sources the launch file and runs --check; the single-quote path test sources the file too; a new case makes the launch-file directory unwritable and checks the run says so, prints no GSTACK_LAUNCH_FILE line, leaves no temp file and keeps its exit code and trailer (linux, non-root). Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test(preload): strip the Capy launch markers so a direct bun test matches the shard sandbox Red Team finding: the launch-marker scrub lived only in createShardSandbox, so a direct `bun test <file>` run under an unattended Capy session inherited GSTACK_SESSION_KIND, GSTACK_CAPY, GSTACK_EPHEMERAL and GSTACK_INSTALL_VERDICT (GSTA-99's symptom). The preload now deletes the same four names, and test/shard-engine.test.ts imports CAPY_LAUNCH_MARKERS instead of re-typing them. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test(ratchet): the launch-env echo scan catches backtick and $VAR exports, typeset -p, env flags and a set in any segment Review findings 11 and 12: export-subst also trips on `export \`...\`` and an unquoted `export $VAR` (both splat a NAME=value file; `export "$name"` is one word and stays allowed); the export rule adds `typeset -p`; env trips with only flags (`env -0`) and as `/usr/bin/env`; set is judged per segment and with redirections, allowed only when piped straight into an anchored grep filter. Quoted strings are blanked offset-preserving so a `#` inside quotes no longer hides the rest of the line. The negative control covers each new form on both sides. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs(ship): Step 14.5 names where the launch-file placeholder comes from The /document-release prompt line read `. <file>` with no word on what fills it. It now says the placeholder is the GSTACK_LAUNCH_FILE: path the parent's own install check printed. Worded to stay under the ship skill's pinned parity size (313,279 of 313,281 union bytes). Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(redact): env.value admits *_PASS, *_PAT, *_APIKEY and *_PWD, and skips path values and gstack's lock token /ship Step 11 adversarial findings. The name rule also covers DB_PASS, GITHUB_PAT, *_APIKEY and *_PWD (the shell's own PWD and OLDPWD stay out). A credential-named variable whose value is a filesystem path (SSL_KEY=/etc/ssl/ private/x.key) names where the credential lives, so the path is no finding, and GSTACK_BRAIN_LOCK_TOKEN (pid-random-epoch, written to the lock owner file) is not a secret. Without these, an ordinary mention of that path or token in a PR body, receipt or CSO report was a HIGH fail-closed blocker. The adversarial pass also recommended an entropy floor so dev defaults such as DB_PASSWORD=postgres stop matching prose; declined here on purpose, because the scan's promise is to catch a leaked value whatever its shape, and a weak real password is still a credential. Recorded as an open decision in the ship report. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(capy-install): a failed launch-file write removes only its own temp file The failure path ran rm -f "$LAUNCH_FILE".tmp.*, which also deleted the temp file a concurrent installer run (two threads on one machine, same verdict path) was about to mv, so that run lost its launch file too. write_launch_file now cleans up its own $tmp and returns 1; the caller only reports. The file's comment no longer embeds the state-root path (a newline in GSTACK_STATE_ROOT could have ended the comment). Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test: the launch markers come from one list, and the echo ratchet scans setup and scripts/*.sh The preload imports CAPY_LAUNCH_MARKERS instead of re-typing the four names, and the ratchet asserts the installer exports every name on that list, so a fifth marker cannot be added to one place only. The shell scan also covers ./setup and the scripts/*.sh install scripts callers run first. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs(changelog): the Unreleased entry states the review-fixed env.value rules, the ratchet forms and the one test-budget change Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(redact): the env.value path exemption asks whether the file exists instead of matching a shape Second review cycle: a path-shaped rule also matched a base64 secret that starts with "/" and holds another "/" (about 1 in 150 AWS-shaped keys), which then went unscanned. The exemption now fires only when the value names a file that exists on the scanning machine (SSL_KEY=/etc/ssl/private/x.key). The module header names that stat as the engine's one filesystem read. NON_SECRET_ENV_NAMES is exported so the test can prove bin/gstack-brain-lock.sh still exports every name in it; the PWD/OLDPWD fixtures hold plain words so only the name rule keeps them out. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test: the installer's own-temp-file cleanup is exercised, and the ratchet coverage test names setup and scripts An mv shim first on PATH refuses only the launch-file target, so the temp file exists when the move fails: the run removes that file alone (a sibling from a concurrent run survives), says so, prints no GSTACK_LAUNCH_FILE line and keeps the earlier file, exit code and trailer. The ratchet coverage test asserts setup, scripts/build.sh and scripts/sandbox-doctor.sh are scanned. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(redact): env.value has no path exemption and matches the value in normalized form Second adversarial pass: the existence check let the scanned agent exempt any "/"- or "~/"-prefixed secret by creating a path of that name, a silent bypass of the one guard this branch adds, so the exemption is gone; a path-valued SSL_KEY that must appear in a text goes through the allowlist. The engine is back to no I/O. The value is now normalized the way the text is before indexOf, so a credential NFKC rewrites (fullwidth digits) still finds its leaked ASCII form. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(capy-install): the launch file is written only on a passing run; the ratchet checks the marker list both ways A gstack: fail run no longer writes or announces a sourceable file whose PATH prepend points at an unverified Bun. The ratchet also asserts every variable the launch file exports is a CAPY_LAUNCH_MARKERS entry or GSTACK_STATE_ROOT, so a sixth export cannot reach fixture children unstripped. The Capy skill's prose no longer offers re-typing the assignments as an alternative to sourcing. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(capy-install): the launch file is part of the ok verdict Third adversarial pass: a passing run whose launch file could not be written still said gstack: ok with exit 0 and printed only the GSTACK_LAUNCH line, leaving a shell-evaluating caller with the re-typing path the branch exists to remove. The file is now written before the verdict is recorded; a write failure on a passing run turns the run into "gstack: fail launch-file — could not write the launch file <path>; fix: … (LAUNCH_FILE_UNWRITABLE)" with exit 1 and an ok:false verdict, and every failing run removes the launch file an earlier passing run left beside the verdict. The two failure tests assert the new contract, the doctor-FAIL tests assert no launch file is announced or left, and the docs, Capy skill and CHANGELOG say the same. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(redact): the env.value allowlist and placeholder rules see the normalized value too An allowlisted value in NFC did not suppress a match on its NFKC-composed form, and a value that is a placeholder only after normalization was still searched for. Fixture nits from the third review cycle: fixed directory string instead of process.cwd(), the fullwidth assertion guards its own vacuity, a zero-width-padded value under the floor is pinned, and the ratchet comment names the one kept export and the PATH case line. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(capy-install): LAUNCH_FILE_UNWRITABLE is a registered result code; a kept profile verdict keeps its launch file Fourth review cycle. The new trailer code now has its row in lib/result-codes-capy.ts (the owner module is at its size cap) and its docs/troubleshooting.md anchor, so the install-side code scan resolves it. A failing profile check (--for review-voice) that keeps a fuller ok verdict for this HEAD no longer deletes that verdict's launch file: the fail branch removes the file only when the run rewrites the verdict, and setup_failed removes it too. The docs say "a failing run that rewrites the verdict", and that an unwritable directory keeps both the old file and the old verdict. A new test runs a passing install, then a failing profile check, and asserts the file and the ok verdict both survive. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test(redact): the normalized allowlist and placeholder rules each have an assertion that fails without them Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test(capy-install): a setup failure after a passing install removes the earlier launch file Fifth review cycle: setup_failed's cleanup had no assertion. The setup failure test now installs once (launch file present), commits a new HEAD so setup runs again, fails that setup, and asserts the launch file is gone and the verdict says ok:false before the next run sets up again and ends ok. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs: state-root, contributor reference and capy-install follow the launch-file contract (Step 14.5 audit) The /document-release audit (docs-3449-1792992068) corrected three authored docs: docs/state-root.md shows the GSTACK_LAUNCH_FILE line and says to apply it with ". <that file>" instead of prefixing or exporting the assignments; docs/CONTRIBUTOR_REFERENCE.md names scan()'s one ambient input instead of calling it pure; docs/capy-install.md's bun-shim bullet and exit table name the launch file and the fail launch-file trailer. v1.91.161.0 fix(pregate): Django, Dart, asset and tool-config lanes; init drafts from the repo (#3266-#3269) (#3306)
* fix(pregate): Dart import graph and test lanes (#3285) Port of arlophoenix's #3285. The import graph reads Dart import/export/part directives and resolves package: URIs through every tracked pubspec.yaml; _test.dart files under test/ are tests. lanes runs each Dart package's selected tests from its own root with flutter test or dart test (through fvm when the package pins it). flutter/dart/melos/very_good CI jobs are lanes, and run-step test paths resolve against working-directory and literal cd. A missing Dart SDK or a .dart file outside any package leaves the lane incomplete with a fix line; device tests (integration_test/, test_driver/) are not unit lanes. Co-authored-by: arlophoenix <arlo.phoenix@gmail.com> Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(pregate): a --base that names a commit gets a branch fix, not an impossible fetch (#3269) gstack-pregate --base <sha> refused with "fix: git fetch origin <sha> --depth=1". That fetch can never create origin/<sha>: a short SHA fails with "couldn't find remote ref", and a full SHA only reaches FETCH_HEAD. A fork clone hits the same wall with --base upstream/main. When origin/<base> does not resolve but <base> names a commit here and no local branch (a SHA, a tag, another remote's ref), the refusal now says --base takes a branch name on origin and suggests origin/HEAD's branch. A local branch, or a name that resolves nowhere, keeps the fetch fix: that is the unfetched or shallow checkout it repairs. Same code, same exit 3, and pin files are still read only from the reviewed origin/<base>. Fixes #3269 Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(pregate): Django, asset and tool-config lanes; init drafts from the repo (#3266, #3267, #3268) - Django: settings modules, settings strings, include(), app migrations, admin, templates, static files and project templates get framework edges (lib/pregate/django.ts). - Assets, stylesheets and dotfile tool config take a no-tests empty lane; licence text under any name is documentation. - gstack-pregate init drafts languages, runner notes and nearest-test dependencies; never writes []. - Review fixes on the #3285 port: untracked shell scopes leave a lane unknown; Dart directives read to their semicolon; nested comments. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test(pregate): init draft API is exercised directly, so init-draft.ts has a lane Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs(changelog): restore the history a truncated rewrite dropped Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(pregate): outside-voice review fixes for the non-JS lanes - Tool config is an allowlist: unknown dotfiles (.rspec, .husky hooks) and stylesheets still need a lane; snapshot, golden and fixture trees and .gstack/ are never inert. - Django edges need Django evidence (manage.py or code importing django) and settings assignments in code, not strings or comments. - A cd after ||, &, control flow or braces leaves a lane unknown. - Dart directives allow metadata and quoted semicolons. - init drafts at most 256 dependencies (the schema limit); the rest are TODO. v1.91.130.0 feat(pr-selection): exercised-path consumer map in shadow mode, MAP_GAP and census refresh (#3259)
* fix(pr-selection): scan shebang and .ts imports, fail closed on scan errors, classify repo config safely
A1-1: strip a leading #! before scanImports at every site, treat bun/node
shebang scripts as code, pick the loader by extension (the TSX loader
misread 15 .ts files), and restore the full gate when any other import
scan fails. Broadens selection only: 0 (file, case) pairs lost vs main,
41 files move from no-consumer to consumed.
A1-2: FREE_ONLY_PR_FILES gains six repository-config files, capy/ is
derivable, and a full-gate file is labelled 'full-gate input' instead of
'real unknown dependency'. The replay MISS check honours the same audited
free-only exemptions as the selector.

* feat(test-health): report gate cases and known cost per PR run, lead with cost per merged PR (A1-3)
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* docs(testing): correct the PR fallback section, document the lockfile decision (A1-3, A1-4)
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* chore(harness): record the A1 test-pr-profile.ts change as non-behavioral (selection only)
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* feat(pr-selection): exercised-path consumers and a shadow selection block (A2-1, A2-2, A2-3)
exercisedConsumers() unions touchfiles, the test-file import closure, executable
skill shell and the bins recorded trials ran (test/helpers/exercised-commands.json).
selectPrProfile reports what that map would select in prCoverage.shadow and never
changes the real selection; a map-only diff selects no paid case.

* feat(exercised-map): union-only refresh with a fail-closed contract, census refresh, MAP_GAP and the replay receipt (A2-1, A2-4)
bun run test:exercised-map refreshes from a census run or local artifacts and
writes nothing on unavailable (exit 3) or partial (exit 4) input. The paid report
prints non-blocking MAP_GAP lines; --replay pins 0 misses over the 47 recorded
gate reds.

* feat(test-health): report shadow savings as a lower bound and split red drops into activation misses and flaky drops (A2-3)
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* docs(testing): document the exercised-path map, its refresh contract and shadow metrics
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* chore(harness): record the A2 test-pr-profile.ts and paid-report.ts changes as non-behavioral
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* test(fixtures): register the exercised-map replay fixture as free (read by scripts/exercised-map.ts --replay)
