garrytanandcapy-ai[bot] fe9aac5db1 fix: review pass fixes for the #1022 preflight 
The printed repair untracks the install with --literal-pathspecs and escapes
glob characters in the ignore rule; the message is no longer capped short.
version-reverted compares VERSION's first line with HEAD's, yields to the
rescue when any file is unmerged, and runs inside the install lock on a full
update.
