**This list, also known as BADBOOL, was started on September 29, 2017 and was most recently updated in February 2024 to add Cyber Background Checks, update a link, and improve the listing for CheckPeople. We also added information on Mozilla Monitor and Mozilla Monitor Plus, and removed Spartacus. (And yes, some shameless self-promotion.)
**This list, also known as BADBOOL, was started on September 29, 2017 and was most recently updated in March 2024 to update PublicDataUSA, correct an Acxiom link, and add an article about OneRep. We are trying to sort through changes to TruthFinder opt-outs (which appear to be going through PeopleConnect) and White Pages Premium (which appear to be going through PeopleSearch) and will update again once we have clarity.
