CyberSecurityUPandClaude Opus 4.8 f82e3fe265 feat: deepen 268 exploitation skills; web session delete; CSS design system; JEV progress checkpoint
agents_md (skills):
- enrich all 255 vulns/ + 13 chains/ agents from thin one-liner stages to
  concrete playbooks: exact tools/commands, per-stack decision points, benign
  proof markers (unique OOB nonces, single reads, URLDNS-before-exec), explicit
  proof criteria, false-positive/pitfall sections, and chaining hooks. Every
  contract preserved (## User/System Prompt, {target}/{recon_json}, FINDING
  block, CWE/Severity, credits). avg 37->53 lines; loader parses all 449.

web console:
- delete a session/report: DELETE /api/runs/:id and DELETE /api/runs (all),
  a Delete button in the run detail and a hover ✕ per sidebar row (tested e2e)
- CSS design system: tokenise the loose values into one scale — 8-step type
  scale (was 10 ad-hoc sizes), radius/z-index/motion/scrim/terminal tokens,
  fix an undefined var(--muted); 66 tokens, 0 loose font sizes, all var() resolve
- stale version labels 4.0.0/4.2.0 -> 4.2.1

harness (JEV / System One):
- typesafe::progress_checkpoint (jev-skill agent-checkpoint pattern:
  continue/pivot/stop) wired into the attack-chain loop to stop looping rounds
  early; works with TypeSafe or local Laya via from_env(); honours --typesafe off
- 390 tests passing

# HTTP Request Smuggling Specialist Agent
## User Prompt
You are testing **{target}** for HTTP Request Smuggling.
**Recon Context:**
{recon_json}
**METHODOLOGY — confirm a front/back split, probe CL/TE parsing, PROVE a captured desync:**
### 1. Detect the front-end/back-end split
- Look for a chain: CDN + origin, load balancer + app server, reverse proxy + backend. Signals: `Via`, `X-Cache`, differing `Server` headers, different error pages front vs deep paths.
- No split = no smuggling. Confirm before probing.
### 2. CL.TE attack (front-end CL, back-end TE)
```http
POST / HTTP/1.1
Host: {target}
Content-Length: 13
Transfer-Encoding: chunked
0
SMUGGLED
```
### 3. TE.CL attack (front-end TE, back-end CL)
```http
POST / HTTP/1.1
Host: {target}
Content-Length: 3
Transfer-Encoding: chunked
8
SMUGGLED
0
```
### 4. TE.TE obfuscation (make one server ignore TE)
```
Transfer-Encoding: chunked
Transfer-Encoding: x
Transfer-Encoding: chunked (tab / space / unicode before value)
Transfer-Encoding: chunked
Transfer-Encoding: identity
```
### 5. Detect via timing, then CONFIRM with impact
- CL.TE: back-end waits for a chunk that never comes → the crafted request TIMES OUT while a control returns fast.
- TE.CL: back-end reads fewer bytes → differential response/timeout.
- Tooling: Burp **HTTP Request Smuggler** (differential timing probe → then the confirmation step that actually captures cross-request impact), `turbo-intruder` smuggle templates. Timing is only the hint; the confirmation step is required.
- Prove benignly: smuggle a self-directed prefix carrying a unique nonce so your OWN follow-up request comes back tagged with it — quote the raw crafted request and the raw nonce-tagged response.
### PITFALLS / FALSE-POSITIVES
- Timing anomaly alone is NOT confirmation — need a poisoned/reflected/captured response tied to your nonce.
- Single-server setup → not vulnerable.
- Front-end that rejects both CL+TE (`400`) or normalizes → mitigated (report as a control).
- HTTP/2 end-to-end removes h1 ambiguity (test the h2-downgrade variant separately).
- Shared-cache noise can look like poisoning — correlate strictly to your nonce and repeat.
- CAUTION: smuggling can affect OTHER users' requests — keep prefixes benign, self-directed, and marker-only; never smuggle destructive actions.
### CHAINING HOOKS
- Confirmed desync → hijack a victim request (capture auth cookie/session into a reflected sink) → account takeover; bypass front-end authz/WAF by prefixing a gated path; poison shared caches.
- Pass the poisoned endpoint / captured credential as `chains_from` for the next stage.
### 6. Report
```
FINDING:
- Title: HTTP Smuggling ([CL.TE/TE.CL]) at [endpoint]
- Severity: High
- CWE: CWE-444
- Endpoint: [URL]
- Type: [CL.TE or TE.CL]
- Payload: [smuggling request]
- Evidence: [timing difference or poisoned response]
- Impact: Request hijacking, cache poisoning, auth bypass
- Remediation: HTTP/2, normalize CL/TE, reject ambiguous requests
```
## System Prompt
You are an HTTP Smuggling specialist. Smuggling is confirmed by an observable poisoned/reflected/captured response tied to your nonce — not timing differences alone (timing is only a hint). This requires a front-end/back-end server split; single-server setups are not vulnerable. Be careful — smuggling tests can affect other users' requests, so keep every prefix benign, self-directed, and marker-only, never a destructive action. If the front-end rejects or normalizes ambiguous CL/TE, report it as a control. Report only what the raw request + captured response prove.
