Drop 63 keys (and their @metadata) that no hand-written code references,
from app_en.arb and every locale file. Groups: 24 upgradeIntro*, 11
downloadLossy*, 10 hiResCheck*, 4 storageMode*, and 14 single keys
(aboutKeepAndroidOpen, actionGo, audioInfoSamples,
backupRestoreConfirmMessage, discographySelectedCount,
editMetadataAutoFillDone/Fetch, historySearchHint, homeSubtitle,
libraryBuiltInPlayerInfo, libraryFolderNotExist, mornyeShowTabs,
selectionShareNoFiles, trackReEnrichOnlineSubtitle).
Usage was verified per key with a whole-word search over lib (excluding
lib/l10n), test, integration_test, android, ios, rust_backend, assets and
third_party. selectionShareCount stays: test/downloaded_album_reenrich_test.dart
calls the generated getter in a findsNothing assertion, so removing it would
break compilation.
flutter gen-l10n, flutter analyze and the l10n-using tests pass. Crowdin
will drop the removed strings on the next sync.
Drop the gomod renovate rule, the stray em dash in crowdin.yml and the migration wording in check_rust_backend.sh. Rename the SMB fixture servers so test_*.py discovery no longer implies unit tests, and describe supported_locales.dart as hand-maintained since its generator never existed.
The empty lyrics page offers Search online, which asks the enabled lyrics
providers in their configured order. The result is shown in the player
only and never written to the file; a late result is dropped after the
track changes, and a miss says so.
Add two keyless providers that serve Apple Music TTML: lrc.red, matched by
recording, and BetterLyrics, which answers songs it has already cached.
TTML is read into the first-party Apple line structure, so vocal sides,
backing groups, word timing, translations and romanization share one eLRC
formatter. The XML depth guard moves to core so both readers use it.
SpotiFLAC-Mobile Lyrics becomes its own provider instead of a fallback
inside Apple Music. New defaults are Apple Music, lrc.red, SpotiFLAC-Mobile
Lyrics, LyricsPlus and LRCLIB. Migration 13 moves untouched defaults to the
new list and keeps the former fallback right after Apple Music in custom
orders. Replace the dead LyricsPlus Workers mirror.
Without a feed, the Material Home now greets in its header with a
prompt picked once per launch, keeps import and paste out of the
resting search field, and fills the page with Continue listening,
player shortcuts, Recently added tracks from the whole Library and the
most played tracks of the last four weeks.
Offer default and full-screen artwork in Material and Mornye, retaining landscape layouts and full-screen Mornye motion artwork. Keep the Material header readable over bright covers and normalize invalid saved styles without resetting other settings.
Validation: 144 related Flutter tests, flutter analyze, generated settings, formatter and diff checks.
Apply the explicit blur override consistently to glass surfaces, tab lenses, menus and the clarity slider while preserving text contrast and reduced motion. Update localized guidance and accessibility regression coverage.
Keep format choices available independently of loaded pages, match codec and extension aliases, and add a filter for indexed ReplayGain tags. Preserve source, quality, search, paging, and existing missing-ReplayGain behavior.
Validation: 13 targeted database and widget tests; Flutter localization generation and targeted analysis.
Load configured sources before storage probes and the track index, retain visible configuration on failures, and expose loading and retry states. Wait for saved settings before legacy migration and recreate a missing source placeholder without replacing existing identities.
Measure actual playback time and count plays after 30 seconds, with local SQLite aggregation for weekly, monthly and annual summaries. Add recording controls and safe clearing without affecting music or playlists.
Use installed extensions through the existing artist metadata API. Cache catalogs daily, cap concurrency, preserve previous results on provider failures and filter exact release dates into seven- and thirty-day views.
Restore the non-mixing music audio session after decorative video initialization and before playback resumes. Add an artwork switch that releases or pauses video decoders and uses still covers when disabled.
Expose playlist, play-next and queue actions across Library search and album selections, including selected artist albums. Sort playlists, keep long selection toolbars scrollable, separate file operations in metadata menus, and show related local songs without online playback.
Assess album completeness from the full local inventory, deduplicate track positions, and retain unknown status for ambiguous tags or disconnected sources. Add filters and count badges to Material and Mornye, including single-track albums and filtered search.
The scan progress tile offers Pause and Resume. A paused scan releases its foreground service and wake lock, shows a paused notice, and resumes from the next unscanned file.
Artist Tag Mode gains "Primary artist only": downloads and re-enrichment write only the first credited artist to Artist and Album Artist, so players list one artist. The FFmpeg MP3, M4A and Vorbis embeds and the AC-4 path now honor the mode; MP3 and M4A previously ignored it.
Manual metadata edits, lyrics embedding and format conversion keep existing or typed credits joined instead of dropping names. The picker scrolls so three options fit on small and landscape screens. Closes#618.
