v1.92.61.0 fix(ship): risk classes cover outbound clients, archives, child_process and metering (GST-850) (#3829)
* WIP GST-850: allowlist docs paths, security and money classes (pins not yet repinned; review pending) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * GST-850: repin review-depth, review-risk and review-allowlist under the GST-850 no-loss replay Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * GST-850: round-1 review fixes (locale admission, SVG comments and interpolation, escapes, YAML types, linear import scan) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * GST-850: choice A, drop the allowlist docs paths (UI text and SVGs stay code); repin under GST-850 Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * GST-850 B+: coarse linear security rules (child_process module line, any outbound client call), drop stale docs paragraph; repin Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * GST-850 B: narrow the linear-time claim to the new rules; hostile anchor-run inputs for every new pattern Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> --------- Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> |

v1.92.60.0 test-free-shards: --ci-run --jobs k sub-shards inside one CI job (k=1 default) (GSTA-203 PR 2) (#3730)
* test-free-shards: --ci-run --jobs k sub-shards inside one CI job (k=1 default), per-file JUnit counts (GSTA-203 PR 2) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * shard-jobs: serial sub-shard gets what is left of the shard wall; register shard-jobs.ts in ship-measure touchfiles Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * shard-jobs: validate every sub-shard summary, bounded JUnit read, stricter --ci-verify records, unique count paths, no serial launch without wall Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * shard-jobs tests: non-hex plan id fixture; harness-version: shard-jobs FREE_ONLY entry is non-behavioral Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(test:free): exact root-bound JUnit path matching; serial timeout text names the wall the parallel phase left Adversarial pass 2 (GSTA-203 PR 2): a plain relative path now matches a planned file exactly, and an absolute or ../-prefixed path matches only when its prefix is the child's root, so an unplanned browse/test/x.test.ts is never credited to test/x.test.ts. The serial sub-shard's FREE_SUBSHARD_TIMEOUT text says how much of the shard wall the parallel phase left it. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs(testing): real-home tripwire covers --jobs k>1 parallel sub-shards (docs audit docs-203-1) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> --------- Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> |

test:health and factory scorecard: leave reused main pushes out of free-suite flake counts (#3725) (#3822)
A main push that reused its merged PR's verified run (#3709) runs no shards and uploads nothing, so both readers counted it as a zero-flake run and diluted real flake rates under the 5% bar. reuseChecker (scripts/lib/ci-history.ts) marks a run with no artifacts and a green reuse job; readCiFlakeLedgers leaves it out and refills the window, readFreeRetries leaves it out of the free-retry count. One capped job listing per artifact-less run (40 per read); past the cap or on a failed listing the run counts as before, with a note. v1.92.53.0 fix(ubicloud): reap destroys only the caller's own VMs (GST-573) (#3756)
* fix(ubicloud): pack and usage on macOS, empty projects (#3680, #3679, #3678) pack builds its archive in two tar passes plus gzip, which bsdtar and GNU tar both accept, with COPYFILE_DISABLE=1 so Apple's tar adds no ._* files. vm_rows skips the blank row Ubicloud returns for a project with no VMs. usage parenthesizes its ternary for the one-true-awk and exits 1 on an unreadable list or size; the quota preflight logs that and defers to the API. That broke the owner-scoped cloud-deletes rule. It now destroys only the caller's own expired and old TTL-less VMs and logs a count of other owners' expired VMs. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: pre-landing review fixes Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs(ubicloud): trim the owner-scoped reap prose back under the context budget Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs: TESTING_INTERNALS says the TTL reaper covers only this owner's VMs Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs(ubicloud): restore the expiry and reap conditions in the trimmed reap prose Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> --------- Co-authored-by: Jared <182125291+yolo-jared@users.noreply.github.com> Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> |

* fix(eval-plan): per-arm pilot projection and --seat-metered arms (#3653) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(autoplan): guard tolerates Claude Code's cwd-reset footer and recovers after an unreadable init (#3651) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: pre-landing review fixes (journal reader strips the cwd-reset footer; an init with no text block no longer locks the session) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: journal reader skips a failed or unreadable init, as invocation() does Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * feat(autoplan): --ceo-only runs the CEO review alone with zero questions (GST-537) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test(eval-plan): all-seat pilot, single-attempt arm and --seat-metered CLI wiring Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(eval-plan): summed deviation adds arm deviations, matching the summed band (arms share rows) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: pre-landing review fixes (test pins an unpriced seat-metered arm) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: pre-landing review fixes (seat-metered declaration fixed per --out, price row still required, a real charge settles as spent) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: pre-landing review fixes Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test: classify autoplan-ceo-only in the Codex host metadata Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: a seat-metered arm that settles a charge is projected as a priced arm Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: select autoplan-ceo-only on the skills it runs; say it needs Claude Code Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs(skills): /eval-plan --seat-metered and per-arm projection Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(eval-plan): skill prose stays under its context budget and carries no $N token Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test: run autoplan-ceo-only in the marathon lane Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs(skills): a seat-metered arm leaves the seat set once it settles a charge Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs: changelog entry for /autoplan --ceo-only Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs(autoplan): init_failed covers unreadable init output and the cwd-reset line (#3651) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test: count the autoplan-ceo-only paid file in the shard inventory Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test(autoplan): #3651 tests pass the test-code type ratchet Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(dx): CAP finding titles carry a one-line description (GBRA-223 claim 2) The DX error contract told both autoplan DX voices to title capped findings exactly CAP4:<path>:<item>, so gates, tasks and reconcile saw a bare code. The title is now CAP4:<path>:<item> <what fails>; the grader already parses that shape. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(autoplan): reconcile pairs same-file findings that carry no line (GBRA-223 claim 1) Plan reviews name files, rarely lines, and reconcile associated by location only when both findings had a line, so findings both voices raised on one file were filed new and native-only. A same-file pair with a missing line is now associated as unverified (basis file), never confirmed; a CAP code no longer counts in title comparison. DRIVER.md names submit --reconcile. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(autoplan): open Critical and High findings reach the gate as apply items (GBRA-223 claim 3) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(autoplan): a spend cap binds on every unattended host; --estimate-usd persists; DRIVER names --usage-usd (GBRA-223 claim 4) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(autoplan): run binds complete api results, names a truncated response, --max-tokens; DRIVER documents run (GBRA-223 claim 6) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * feat(autoplan): carry an item-by-item answer when the later gate asks nothing new (GBRA-223 claim 7) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(dx): trim the compact error contract so plan-devex-review stays under its size pin Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: pre-landing review fixes (p1b applies finding fixes, api attempts reserve no host default, cross-file title pairing, paired severity counted) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: review fixes (priced api reservations, no file-only twins, two-pass pairing, partial replies keep p1-dependent defaults open, outside refusal degrades) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * P7: record whose words answered a gate (--words-by agent:<id>), never carry an agent's own words, import each row under its own answerer (GEVA-2) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: review pass 2 (p1b needs --rec-hash after recommend; api calls send the output limit they reserve for) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * changelog: fragment for the /autoplan field-report wave (GST-672) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs: captain record notes --words-by agent attribution Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test: follow finding apply items in approval-class and Captain flow tests; bind run-api limit to DEFAULT_MAX_TOKENS Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * wave autoplan: lower the gemini plan-devex-review pin to its exact size after #3781's DX trim Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(autoplan): CAP titles on different paths never match by title in reconcile or confirm rounds (wave review) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(autoplan): a truncated api call settles its cost and a retry is admitted afresh against the cap Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(autoplan): an applied finding stays open until the revised plan is reviewed; a shared location alone never twins two findings Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(approval): a plan gate answered in an agent's own words is not owner approval Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(gate): a new answer replaces the earlier answer's authorship and words Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(autoplan): a failed api call with no usage keeps its attempt open; reservations price the bound prompt (wave fix-check) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(autoplan): a spend cap fails closed: only a call refused before sending keeps its attempt; a sent call with unknown usage settles at its reservation Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs(autoplan): the 16384 output default applies to both providers; changelog for the wave's integrator fixes Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs(autoplan): how run settles a failed api call; changelog scopes it to the native voice Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(autoplan): a spend cap fails closed on every exit of run; an unpriced model reserves the default once a cap is set Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs(autoplan): every sent call settles; an unpriced model under a cap reserves the default Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * docs(autoplan): DRIVER and help say a cap reserves in any session kind and how run settles a sent call Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> --------- Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> |

fix(hooks): the timeline Stop hook bounds its stdin read (#3628) (#3715)
A host that writes the Stop payload and keeps stdin open held the hook for as long as the pipe stayed open. Read for at most 500 ms, stop at the first complete JSON payload, and await the repair before exiting 0. Reported in #3628 (shahab, mashtii85); the read is written fresh on main. v1.92.45.0 /ship review scales to risk, with a 2-round cap (R51) (#3820)
* review: /ship depth scales to risk, not size; two rounds is the cap (R51, GSTA-167) Non-risky code is light at any size; a risk class (money, auth, secret, security, user data) or gate code makes it full. UI or game text counts as docs. A fix-check counts as a round and round 2 never earns a third. The receipt records review_loop.rounds and review_depth.risk. Repins lib/review-depth.ts and pins lib/review-risk.ts under no-loss replay R51 (test/review-packets-removed.test.ts): the saved panel findings re-scored against this plan lose no blocker, and every gate, security, user-data and money fixture keeps main's reviewers plus the full panel. * fix(pregate): literals stops treating a same-stem sibling file as the changed module (GST-820)

v1.92.42.0 fix(ship): notes-only review passes bind; carry handles large diffs; scoped carry route (GST-430, GST-448, GST-442, GST-444) (#3694)
* fix(ship): base merges, adjacent base edits, test-only and audit-requested fixes no longer force a second review loop (GST-407, GST-384, GST-391)

* ship driver: keep the Next steps heading phrase the handoff check reads; trim elsewhere

* test: regenerate ship goldens
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: pre-landing review fixes
comparePath returns same only when every hunk sits where the base change puts it (patch-ids ignore positions) and treats a file-mode change as changed; the scoped-review packet says when a fence is truncated; --docs-result must be the posted audit's result; the --context-reviewed record goes beside the packet, outside the worktree. Negative controls for each.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: pass-2 review fixes
A test edit routes as tests= only when it adds lines with no gate tag; a removed or changed line or an unreadable test diff goes through the full loop. Diffs skip textconv. A hunkless patch (binary, empty, mode-only) is same when its patch-id matches. Without --reviewed-base test files route as before. finish's packet path and attempt's state directory have fallbacks.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: Step 11 review fixes; a version-only stamp_files edit after review is release metadata (GBRA-251)
gateEditedPaths reads removed lines only inside hunks; carry refuses when a path listing fails; docs freshness stops on a failed listing; attempt counts an unreadable state file. releasePaths includes stamp_files paths whose edit is a version swap under stamp_patterns.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: no test edit skips review; guard packet writes; exclusive attempt state
A test-only edit with no gate tag gets the scoped fix-check of its test hunks instead of a lanes-only rerun. Packet write failures print a STOP or RECEIPT_CARRY_REFUSED. attempt's allowance uses an exclusive create.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: attempt prints gstack's install command; carry checks the product diff outside context paths
The attempt STOP no longer echoes the audit child's fix text. A scoped-review carry now requires the product patch-id without the context paths to match at both heads.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: oversized packets take the full loop; exact --docs-requested match; name-only test globs only in test dirs
A scoped-review packet section over 200 lines sends that path to the full loop instead of a truncated packet. The docs-result path match is exact. test_*.py, *Test.java and similar count as test code only under a test directory.

Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix(receipt): carry and write handle PRs with thousands of files; tree receipt fails closed on a failed diff (GST-448)
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix(ship): preflight routes RECEIPT_CARRY_SCOPED_REVIEW to the scoped review; carry --dry-run writes no packet (GST-442)
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* docs(ship): Step 1.4 and Step 16 route the scoped-review refusal and the --docs-requested fix; trims keep the cap (GST-442, GST-444)
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: /ship review pass 1: notes-only floor, scoped carry order, named temp and diff refusals
- A notes-only pass is recorded clean only when every finding is fixed, or noted or deferred below the
blocking floor (never CRITICAL or blocking), by its logger-stamped action, and the findings account
for the claimed issue and critical counts (GST-430).
- The preflight scoped carry route commits and pushes the base-merge fix before writing the packet (GST-442).
- patchId refuses by name on an unwritable TMPDIR; the tree receipt names why its diff failed (GST-448).
- Step 16 stage 3 spells out --docs-requested with its --docs-result (GST-444).
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* test: pin the Step 16 --docs-requested route with its --docs-result
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: a claimed clean review row with a logger-stamped open gate finding reads UNVERIFIED (red-team, pass 1)
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: Step 11 findings: gate rows from --findings are stamped, one open rule, stale patch-id dirs swept
- deriveFromFindings stamps gate rows with the session kind before deriving status, so a findings file cannot
dispose of a gate finding the unattended logger forces open (outside-voice#1).
- reviewFreshness reads a claimed row's findings with isOpenByAction, the rule the notes-only rewrite uses;

* fix: Step 11 round 2: stamped-open gates win over status and disposition; resolved gate, skipped and below-floor actions stay CURRENT
- isOpenFinding treats action 'open' (the logger's forced-open stamp) as open before a row's status or disposition.
- reviewFreshness flags a claimed clean row only for an 'open' action or a CRITICAL or blocking deferral or note, so
interactive kept and restored gates, skipped advisories and INFORMATIONAL deferrals read CURRENT as before.

v1.92.41.0 fix(ubicloud): pack and usage on macOS, reap and up on an empty project (#3680, #3679, #3678) (#3746)
* fix(ubicloud): pack and usage on macOS, empty projects (#3680, #3679, #3678) pack builds its archive in two tar passes plus gzip, which bsdtar and GNU tar both accept, with COPYFILE_DISABLE=1 so Apple's tar adds no ._* files. vm_rows skips the blank row Ubicloud returns for a project with no VMs. usage parenthesizes its ternary for the one-true-awk and exits 1 on an unreadable list or size; the quota preflight logs that and defers to the API. v1.92.38.0 fix(brain-sync): set local edits aside around the retry merge and say why it failed (#3704) (#3728)
* test(brain-sync): a rejected push's retry merge must not wedge on local edits (#3704) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(brain-sync): set local edits aside around the retry merge and say why it failed (#3704) After a rejected push, git refused the fetch-and-merge whenever a file it would update had uncommitted local edits, and brain-sync discarded git's error, so every later run hit the same refusal and stayed push_failed. The merge now stashes tracked edits first and restores them after; a failed merge is aborted; a conflicting restore keeps the merged version in the working tree and names the stash and the restore command in the status. push_failed carries git's merge reason and the real push error line. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(brain-sync): set aside only the paths the retry merge changes, read them literally, and pop only our own stash entry (#3704) Pre-landing review fixes: a pattern-like conflicting file name no longer resets unrelated local edits, a stash push that saves nothing no longer pops an older entry, and a file that never checks out clean no longer strands every other local edit in the stash. v1.92.31.0 fix(flaky): qa-callers child handoff and three ship-docsync detector gaps (2026-10-29 flaky pass, GSTA-162) (#3606)
* fix(flaky): qa-callers parents hand children literal commands and paths; Step 9 gate scan joins diff discovery Nine paid ship qa-callers reds after #3553 (late-input, plan-checks, small-cli) had two causes, replayed from their retained captures (2026-10-29 flaky pass, GSTA-162): - six trials: the parent paraphrased its specialist prompt and the child ran the one refused call (git -C <dir> diff, or a cd into the checklist directory); - three late-input trials hit error_max_turns at 25/25 after running Step 9's gate scan only after the receipt, or never. The session prompt now tells the parent the child starts in the product directory, to write each command exactly as it must run and each Read as one literal path; the ship scheduling contract lists Step 9's review-plan command and gate-scan block with the first diff discovery. The detector is unchanged. Seven new replay tests fail with the fixture prompt stashed. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(flaky): docsync detectors accept a read given --help, the cap gate's wrong-path 127 and a full read before a failed separator; only the accepted docs attempt is parsed strictly Replayed from the 2026-10-29 window's ship-docsync reds (GSTA-162): - current 40822033640, completion 40815828320, store 40809051510: the parent joined `cat <candidate> --help 2>&1 | head -N` onto a line of reads; GNU cat printed its usage and read nothing. A declared read command given --help is neutral; its operands are still checked. - stale-after 40749421675: the cap gate typed at the shard root exited 127, then ran at the declared path. The wrong-path 127 excuse now covers the cap gate as well as the candidate. - failure 40828580338: phase.md printed in full, then zsh failed the `echo ======` separator. The read counts when the line's first unpiped cat printed the whole file first. - completion 40805543956: the parent rejected attempt 1 (no documentation_section) and re-audited; the case now parses only the accepted attempt strictly. v1.92.24.0 fix(ship): finish accepts an owner-accepted documentation exception (GST-713) (#3776)
* fix(ship): base merges, adjacent base edits, test-only and audit-requested fixes no longer force a second review loop (GST-407, GST-384, GST-391)

* test: regenerate ship goldens
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: pre-landing review fixes
comparePath returns same only when every hunk sits where the base change puts it (patch-ids ignore positions) and treats a file-mode change as changed; the scoped-review packet says when a fence is truncated; --docs-result must be the posted audit's result; the --context-reviewed record goes beside the packet, outside the worktree. Negative controls for each.
Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>
* fix: pass-2 review fixes
The docs-result path match is exact. test_*.py, *Test.java and similar count as test code only under a test directory.

v1.92.23.0 feat(harness): opt-in start hook for OpenClaw and Hermes, so agents run a skill's start command (GST-718) (#3786)
* feat(harness): opt-in start hook for OpenClaw and Hermes (GST-718) gstack-harness register openclaw|hermes --start-hook (or GSTACK_HARNESS_START_HOOK, or gstack-config harness_start_hook) adds a gstack-start plugin that puts a one-line note on every user turn to run a gstack skill's start command as written. Activation goes through each harness's own CLI and is read back; a run that turns it on and ends inactive exits 4. Off by default. v1.92.22.0 feat: Gemini CLI host, and older installs drop the dev toolchain (#3778)
* setup: explicit contributor marker; move pre-v1.91.231.0 installs to production deps (#3447) ./setup used node_modules/typescript as its contributor signal, so every install made before v1.91.231.0 (a full bun install) kept ~520 MB of test and eval packages forever. The contributor is now the clone bin/dev-setup marks with git config gstack.contributor true, or GSTACK_CONTRIBUTOR=1. An unmarked clone with the dev toolchain moves node_modules aside under a checkout lock, installs production-only, verifies every dependency, and drops the backup; any failure puts the full install back with SETUP_DEPS_MIGRATE_FAILED. CI and a clone whose git config cannot be read never migrate. Bun cache entries for the pinned Agent SDK are removed only when no other project links to them. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * hosts: add Gemini CLI as an experimental host (#1247) ./setup --host gemini (alias gemini-cli; --host auto when gemini is on PATH) installs gstack-<skill> directories into ~/.gemini/skills, which Gemini CLI 0.66.0 lists with gemini skills list, plus the ~/.gemini/skills/gstack runtime root. Renders go to .gemini-cli/ (gitignored) with name+description frontmatter whose names match their directories, CLAUDE.md rewritten to GEMINI.md, and a tool glossary for Gemini CLI's names (and Antigravity's, which can read the same folder). gstack-uninstall removes only gstack-managed entries there, so the user's own skills stay. Docs: ADDING_A_HOST.md verified facts, hosts.md, uninstall.md, README. v1.92.15.0 feat: plan reviews check facts and keep one task list; /office-hours hands its wireframe to design review (#340, #513, #973, #1048, #1791) (#3775)
* G1: gstack-plan-reality check opens every file:line receipt (#973) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * G1: office-hours spec reviewer checks paths and flags through a bin-enforced probe (#973) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * G2: plan-review reruns reconcile the last task list (gstack-tasks prior/supersede) (#1791) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * G2: plan reviews write task lists through gstack-tasks start/add/close The emit block shrinks to three calls: prior (now defaulting --dir and --branch, and printing how to reconcile), start (creates the empty branch-named list) and add (one validated row per task). close records a done or dropped prior task. The plan-review result codes move to lib/result-codes-plan.ts so lib/result-codes.ts stays under the module-size ratchet; generated plan-review sections shrink, so their size pins go down. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * F2: office-hours saves the sketch beside the design doc; /plan-design-review reads it Step 5 copies sketch.png/html to <PROJECT_DIR>/{user}-{branch}-sketch-{datetime}.* and writes a Wireframe: line (state-root relative) or Wireframe: none (<reason>). The design review section finds the design doc before Pass 1 and opens the wireframe, text-only when the file is missing. G4's signals line rides along in the same generated office-hours files; tests in planning-wave-prose. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * G3: plan reviews tie storage to queries, not file count (#1048) One bullet in each of plan-eng-review and plan-ceo-review: fields queried, constrained or updated on their own get explicit columns or tables; JSON suits a document read and written whole. Written fresh; the reporter's patch is not ported. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * evals: GSTA-228 planning-wave cases with branch, main and no-gstack arms planted facts (G1, behavior), data model (G3, behavior), task-list rerun (G2, rule) and closing signals (G4, behavior). GSTACK_WAVE_ARM picks the arm; only the branch arm asserts the preregistered bar, every arm writes a score row. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * changelog: GSTA-228 planning wave fragment Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * G1: the probe takes subcommand words for fixed-subcommand CLIs The planted-facts eval's one branch miss: the reviewer asked to probe "git log", the probe refused it, and git's top-level help cannot show a log flag, so the fabricated --since-commit stayed "unverified". probe --help <command> [<subcommand> [<subcommand>]] now runs <cli> --help for git, gh, docker, cargo, go, npm and uv (never node, bun, python3, make, yarn, pnpm or a gstack bin, where the word could name a script), in an empty temporary directory with pagers set to cat, falling back to -h when --help has no usage line (a minimized system's missing man page). Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * G2: task text goes through a rows file, never a command line The free suite's generated-bash lint (INV-3) refused the add command's <title>/<finding> placeholders: free text reaches a command only as a file the agent writes with its file-write tool. start now also creates an empty rows file in the repository's git-excluded .gstack/tmp and records the run; the agent writes task and disposition rows there; add validates every row, stamps phase, run, branch and commit, appends tasks to the list and dispositions to task-dispositions-<phase>-<branch>.jsonl, then supersedes the branch's earlier lists. close is gone (dispositions are rows). The new planning-wave cases get measured periodic walls in scripts/paid-test-durations.json so the periodic census still packs into 40 slices, the schema case declares the preamble sources its eng-template owners need, and the paid file count is 114. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * G2: fold start into add so each plan review emits one bash fence The rows file lives at .gstack/tmp/tasks-<phase>-rows.jsonl; add writes this run's list (empty when there are no rows), appends dispositions, deletes the rows file and supersedes the branch's earlier lists. Lowers 27 size pins. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * G2 tests: give gstack-tasks a private HOME and state root CI shard 13 home containment caught gstack-slug writing ~/.gstack/slug-cache entries from the tasks-prior fixtures. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * changelog: gstack-tasks has no start command Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * G1/G2: tighten the probe and the rows file after ship review The probe now accepts only each CLI's listed built-in subcommands (no uv run, docker run, go test, npm exec or gh extensions), refuses gstack bins that do not handle --help and never retries them with -h, and runs with a throwaway HOME and an environment without keys. gstack-tasks resolves the slug through runScriptSync (Windows) and prior deletes a rows file an unfinished run left. Adds tests for the dropped disposition and the stale rows file. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * G2: add refuses while an earlier task is neither carried nor closed Ship review (state matrix): a rerun that skipped RECONCILE silently retired open tasks. add now names each undecided <run_id>/<id> and writes nothing. Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * G1/G2: fixes from the ship fix-check and Step 11 voices Probe: find the repository root without running git, drop relative and in-repository PATH entries for lookup and for the child, keep HOME and toolchain locations (rustup, mise, asdf) but no keys, drop cargo fmt/clippy (external cargo-* programs), restore planted env in the test. gstack-tasks: resolve the exclude path against the cwd (subdirectories), resolve --dir, stamp an empty branch on a detached HEAD like the aggregator, name the file from --branch, and refuse a same-second second list instead of appending. Receipts: line 0, reversed ranges, dangling links and paths through files are unresolved instead of crashing. v1.92.14.0 feat: a .gstack-project file makes a nested repo or umbrella folder its own project (#2649, #1923) (#3777)
* feat: a .gstack-project marker makes a nested repo or umbrella folder its own project (#2649, #1923) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * test: marker tests ignore an ambient GSTACK_STATE_ROOT Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix: pre-landing review fixes (per-repo records ignore every marker, worktree binding in remote-slug and under a git HOME) Co-authored-by: capy-ai[bot] <230910855+capy-ai[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> * fix(slug): a linked worktree finds its main checkout's marker on its first run The worktree binding was written only when the main checkout resolved, so a worktree outside an umbrella resolved first kept its old bucket and later switched. Walk up from the main checkout on a miss instead (under its own $HOME rule) and drop the binding file.
