Desktop-app variant (runs within the Claude Agent SDK) with the full tool
surface: core tools plus desktop-only families absent from the CLI capture —
ccd_session widgets, visualize, iOS Simulator, the in-app Claude_Browser
automation set, credential autofill, 1Password Environments, session
management, scheduled tasks, MCP registry, Claude in Chrome, computer use,
and the Google Calendar/Drive/Gmail connectors. Connector server names on
the desktop wire are per-connector UUIDs (mcp__{uuid}__{tool}); headings
use the readable CLI-style names instead.
First Grok prompt to open with an explicit anti-jailbreak block:
safety rules that override roleplay and hypotheticals, an enumerated
prohibited-topics list with an "acknowledge but never describe
methods" policy, a suicide-redirect clause, and a copyright clause.
New tools since 4.3 Beta: view_image, view_x_video (reads X videos
as frames + subtitles), edit_memory (persistent markdown memory with
separate personal and project policies), and search_connected_tools/
call_connected_tool — dynamic connector discovery in the style of
Claude Code's ToolSearch. Bash is now a fresh shell per call with
background support. A new memory-edit bundled skill ships alongside,
and User Info + Memories personalization sections replace the old
Response Style Guide.
Both captured July 24, 2026, same day as the refreshed Fable 5
captures, so differences between the files are model-conditional
rather than version drift.
The claude.ai prompt includes sections absent from Fable 5's: a
fable_safeguards_routing notice (Fable 5 queries can be redirected
to Opus 5 by a safeguards mechanism), the Mythos Preview / Project
Glasswing tier description, and the June 2026 export-control
suspension notice. Opus 5 also carries rewritten search, copyright,
and image-search instructions that Fable 5 does not have.
The Claude Code prompt differs from same-version Fable 5's: Fable's
"Communicating with the user" chapter is absent; Opus 5 instead gets
"Delivering work" and "Corrections" sections.
Refresh of the July 19 capture: adds the suggest_research tool,
batched memory_read (up to 20 paths), Calendar search_events, and
the Claude Tag product mention.
- grep-tool.md / glob-tool.md: replace 2026-06-03 authored manuals with the
true verbatim tool definitions (identical for --tools-restored main agents
and allowlist subagents; MITM + binary verified)
- agents/: rename description -> internal whenToUse field name; Explore gets
both whenToUse and whenToUseLean (lean = Opus 4.8+/Fable listing text)
- Explore.md: replace gate-off rendering with live MITM capture of the native
agent (find/grep-via-Bash guidelines, no Glob/Grep tools)
- claude.md -> claude-agent.md (case-insensitive FS collision: file was being
auto-loaded as a project CLAUDE.md)
