Add a fourth Playlists chip/page to the Library filter pager, rendered
as an album-style grid of playlist cells (search filters by name, page
provider short-circuits since playlists come from libraryCollections).
Add a defaultLibraryView setting (last used / all / albums / singles /
playlists) in Library settings, applied on startup and whenever the
shell switches back to the Library tab.
The Go MusicBrainz genre and album-artist ISRC lookups only ran
automatically at download time. The tag editor's auto-fill section
gains a Fetch from MusicBrainz button that bridges both exports in one
channel call (sparing the 1 req/s budget) and fills the fields as
editable suggestions; nothing is written until Save.
The connectivity listener now stays alive while network-failed items
remain and, on reconnect, shows a debounced snackbar counting them
with a Retry action wired to retryAllFailed scoped to network
failures. Also regenerates localizations for the recent feature
strings.
Merge origin/l10n_main (PR #428) with a per-key three-way resolution:
Crowdin values win only where main did not change the key since the
last sync, so the unused-key removal, store->repo wording sweep, and
ICU plural fixes survive. Korean is restored at 98% completion and
mapped again in crowdin.yml and both language pickers; ar/hi/nl/zh-CN/
zh-TW stay dropped (37% and below).
The playlist import picker now also accepts .m3u/.m3u8; EXTINF entries
feed the same Deezer enrichment pipeline as CSV. Collection screens
(wishlist, loved, playlists) gain an export action that resolves each
track to its local file, writes SAF entries relative to the download
tree root so external players and DAP copies resolve them, skips
tracks without a file, and shares the .m3u8 via the system sheet.
Queued rows get a skip-next button that reinserts the item ahead of all
other queued items, so the next free slot picks it up. During an active
native worker run the current batch keeps its order; the new order
applies from the next run.
Reads REPLAYGAIN_TRACK_GAIN (album gain fallback) from FLAC/MP3/M4A tags
and converts Opus R128_TRACK_GAIN/R128_ALBUM_GAIN (Q7.8, -23 LUFS) to the
same ReplayGain dB representation on the Go side, then attenuates the
internal player's volume per track. Off by default; toggle lives under
Library > Playback. Opus header output gain is left to the decoder, which
already applies it.
Closes#465
A single HeroMode above the router disables shared-element flights
app-wide (mini player expand, track metadata cover) for users who
prefer no motion or want to save the overlay rendering cost. On by
default; persisted in AppSettings.
The es/pt/zh base locales still shipped the old Store labels, the
backup-restore hint said 'from the store' in every locale (boutique
in fr, store loanword in ko), and the Go store lookup error said
'not found in store'. All user-visible surfaces now say repo;
translator descriptions in the template updated to match.
UpdateChecker now derives the latest release and a releasesBehind
count from one releases-list call. When the installed version is
forceUpdateThreshold (3) or more stable releases behind, the update
dialog becomes mandatory: barrier and back-press are blocked, the
later/don't-remind actions are hidden, backing out of the installer
returns to the dialog, and the check bypasses the user's
check-for-updates opt-out. Prereleases never count toward the
threshold.
1,303 stale entries dropped across 19 locales (largest groups:
Spotify credentials flow, collection playlists, notification
channels, backup strings); generated localizations rebuilt.
Crowdin sources need a resync after this lands.
Three-way per-key merge: Crowdin wins for keys it updated, locally
added keys that Crowdin has not exported yet are kept. Also normalizes
@@locale to underscore form (es_ES, pt_PT, zh_CN, zh_TW) and repairs
two translations whose placeholders diverged from the template
(ar extensionsInstallPartialSuccess, es_ES cueSplitSplitting).
The Dart queue loop was already built around an activeDownloads map and
per-item progress tracking but was gated to one download at a time. Add
a concurrentDownloads setting (1-3, default 1) exposed in Download
Settings > Performance, and let the scheduler keep up to that many
items in flight. The experimental Android native worker is still
strictly sequential, so it is skipped in favor of the Dart queue while
concurrency is enabled.
The two folder-access failure messages are stored on items as fixed
English sentinels so code can match on them; translate the known
sentinels at display time (error dialog and failed-row message) via new
downloadErrorSafPermissionLost / downloadErrorFolderAccessLost keys.
Also replace em dashes in recently added comments.
When a download hit a verification challenge while the app was in the
background, the browser launch was attempted immediately (blocked or
silently dropped by the OS) and the 5-minute grant timeout kept running,
so the item failed without the user ever seeing the CAPTCHA.
Wait for AppLifecycleState.resumed before opening the challenge and
before starting the grant timeout, and post a local notification asking
the user to return to the app. If the process is killed while waiting,
the persisted queue already restores the item as queued on next launch.
A persisted SAF tree grant can die silently (folder deleted or renamed,
SD card removed, app data reset, system revocation). Downloads then fail
with no recovery path beyond digging through Settings.
- Add isSafTreeAccessible bridge method: the grant must still be in the
system's persisted permission list and the tree writable
- Show a warning banner in Files & Folders when the saved SAF folder is
no longer accessible, with an inline re-select action
- In the download error dialog, replace Retry with a Re-select folder
action when the failure is a lost folder grant (Android SAF or iOS
bookmark); a successful re-pick retries the item automatically
- Share the folder-access error messages as constants so the UI can
match on them reliably
Add localization keys for verification browser settings, manual
verification help dialog actions, and lossless conversion dithering and
resampler option labels.
Add English template strings and Indonesian translations for playback,
audio conversion, library settings, metadata actions, store snackbars,
SongLink region names, and other previously hardcoded user-facing text.
Regenerate AppLocalizations from the updated ARB files.
Add a preview player provider and PreviewButton, a previewUrl field on Track (parsed from search and local redownload), preview buttons in search results, and stop the preview on navigation/tab change via per-tab navigator observers. Includes preview play/stop/unavailable localization strings.
Add a localized description header and Material 3 styling (rounded
corners, scrollable layout, surface color) to the album folder structure
picker in Files settings.
Back up the store registry URL plus each installed extension (id, version, enabled flag and settings) and restore them on a new device by reinstalling from the store and re-applying settings. Secret-flagged settings (tokens/API keys) are excluded by default behind an opt-in 'Include extension credentials' toggle. Device-bound signed sessions are never backed up. Settings are merged on restore so omitted secrets are not wiped; failed reinstalls are reported.
Add a Backup & Restore page that exports app settings, download history, liked tracks, wishlist, playlists (with cover images) and favorite artists into a single JSON file, and restores them on another device. Settings restore preserves device-specific storage location (SAF tree URI, download dir). Includes EN strings and ID translations.
LyricsPlus (KPOE): word-by-word synced lyrics with multi-server failover, converted to enhanced LRC. ReplayGain: standalone EBU R128 (re)scan writing REPLAYGAIN_TRACK_* tags via native writers or FFmpeg, with batch action in queue/album screens and SAF support.
- Rename downloadProviderMatchesBuiltIn -> downloadProviderReplacesLegacyProvider
- Rename Tidal DASH ffmpeg helpers and lossy format pickers to generic names
- Add utils.decryptCTRSegments crypto API + raw/bytes file read path in extension runtime
- Update l10n strings/descriptions to drop hardcoded service names
- Bump version to 4.5.7+134
The download API only permits one request at a time, so parallel
downloads are removed to avoid wasted/blocked API calls. Downloads
now always run sequentially (one track at a time).
- Drop concurrentDownloads from AppSettings + JSON serialization
- Remove setConcurrentDownloads and the settings UI (1-5 chips + warning)
- Strip optionsConcurrent* l10n keys from all ARBs and regenerate
- Rework queue worker into _processQueueSequential (single active download)
- Update marketing copy and adjust tests
Resolve ARB conflicts via per-key union: apply latest Crowdin
translations for shared keys while preserving newer app keys added on
main after the branch point. Drop hyphenated ARB duplicates
(app_ar-SA, app_es-ES, app_pt-PT, app_tr-TR, app_uk-UA) that break
Flutter gen-l10n; keep underscore filenames. Add Arabic (app_ar.arb)
and regenerate app_localizations.
